PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

The knitting definitely took the longest.  Each square took me about forty minutes to do and i think i would've finished it a lot faster if i knitted more often than i did. My mum helped a lot as well, doing the orange and yellow squares while i did the ribbing on the bottom, sides and sleeves. By the end of it all, i had 12 orange squares, 11 red, 12 blue, 11 yellow, 11 black and 13 green squares plus the two blue strips on the front and the red ribbing for the cuffs and sleeves. The original pattern released by JW Anderson had each square in a different stitch however as a beginner, i decided against that. Once all the squares were complete, i laid them all out on the floor in the laundry and sewed them all together. This didn't take that long but i found myself having to remove the stitches and start again often as there were holes or overlapping happening. Im very happy with the final product as i didn't have very high hopes at the beginning and it certainly isn't perfect but i think for a first shot, it's pretty good.
